How Much Does Car Detailing Cost in Wesley Chapel?
A straight answer on detailing prices in Wesley Chapel and Tampa Bay — what changes the number, what each service actually costs, and where people overpay.

Detailing prices look confusing because most shops quote a single number for a job that varies enormously. A two-door coupe that gets washed fortnightly and a three-row SUV that has carried two kids and a dog for four years are not the same work, and pricing them the same would be wrong for one of you.
The four things that actually move the price
- Vehicle size. More panels and more glass means more time. A 3-row SUV or truck typically runs 50–60% above a 2-door for the same package.
- Condition. A maintained car takes a predictable amount of time. Ground-in brake dust, pet hair, or two years of road film do not.
- Interior vs exterior. Interior work is labour-heavy and hard to rush — extraction and steam cleaning take as long as they take.
- Protection. Wax, sealant, and ceramic coating are three different durations of protection at three different price points.
What things cost around here
Our own published pricing is on each service page, and it is per vehicle size rather than a single headline number. As a rough orientation: a basic exterior wash starts around $50, a recurring maintenance plan around $90 a month, a full interior-and-exterior detail starts around $120, paint correction starts around $400, and ceramic coating packages start around $600 because they include a correction stage first.
If a quote for ceramic coating does not mention paint correction, ask why. Coating locks in whatever the paint looks like underneath — including the swirls.
Where people overpay
The two most common ways to waste money on detailing are paying for correction you do not need, and paying repeatedly for a deep clean because nothing was protected afterwards.
On the first: not every car needs multi-stage paint correction. Lightly swirled paint on a three-year-old daily driver usually needs one polishing step, not three. A good detailer will look at the paint under proper light before recommending anything.
On the second: a full detail with no protection applied will look incredible for about three weeks in Florida. Adding a sealant or coating at the end is what makes the result last, and it is far cheaper than paying for another deep clean in two months.
Mobile vs shop pricing
Mobile detailing is not automatically more expensive. We carry our own water and power, so there is no facility overhead being passed on. What you actually save is the half-day you would otherwise spend dropping a car off and arranging a lift home — the work happens in your driveway while you carry on with your day.
